INGREDIENTS

While natural human-type ceramide is undoubtedly the star, the supporting cast of beneficial ingredients work in harmony to maximize its potential, making this serum both unique and special. The result: a symphony of ingredients that work to restore and maintain your skin's dual balance.

Skin-balancing components:

  • Sphingomyelin: A complex, long chain lipid that amounts to 50% of the skin's phospholipids. Protects skin from dryness and helps to maintain skin barrier homeostasis.
  • Glucosylceramide: A component necessary for making ceramide which can repair and strengthen the skin's barrier function, improves atopic dermatitis and prevents skin aging.
  • Phytosphingosine: A naturally occuring lipid which helps repair and rebuild damaged skin. It also has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.

These 4 select oils for beautiful, healthy-looking skin:

Jojoba Oil: Technically not an oil, but a wax esther that mimics our skin's natural oils. It balances oil and moisture, enhances skin's restorative properties, is naturally antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and softens skin.

Squalane Oil: A natural component of human sebum, it improves elasticity by increasing moisture retention and nutrients. It is high in antioxidants and is very effective at fighting free radicals, neutralizing environmental damage.

Tsubaki Oil: Rich in oleic acid, nourishing Omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids, and vitamins A, D and E. Promotes skin elasticity and hydration, while antioxidants protect the skin from free radical damage and the visible signs of aging.

Shea Butter: Abundant in natural vitamin E and A, keeping skin healthy, with anti-inflammatory properties and antioxidants.

Aromatic blend of natural & organic essential oils:

Lavender: has a relaxing effect, aides in sleeping and improves immunity.

Bergamot: Provides calming and positive effects. Soothes and nourishes skin, and cicatrizant in bergamot promotes skin healing.

Geranium: Adjusts the balance of the autonomic nervous system, having the effect of reducing stress and regulating hormone secretion.
